Anthony initially began working for Marc Whitehead & Associates as a law clerk while earning his law degree. For two summers during law school, Anthony clerked for Criminal District Judge John B. Stevens. After passing the Texas Bar Exam, Anthony had the honor of being sworn in by Judge Stevens.
Anthony is also an active mediator, and has mediated several cases in The Honorable Judge Dale M. Gorczynski’s Court. Anthony studied cross-cultural dispute resolution at Charles University in Prague, Czech Republic. He was active both in South Texas College of Law’s Mock Trial and Alternative Dispute Resolution programs. He competed in several tournaments, including the 2012 International Mediation Competition held in Chicago, Illinois; his team placed in the top ten advocates of forty-six teams from across the globe.
As an associate attorney for Marc Whitehead & Associates LLP, Anthony handles the firm’s ERISA discovery and litigation, representing clients who have been denied disability benefits in state and federal court. Anthony also spearheads the Social Security Disability team and has successfully represented clients in hundreds of Social Security Disability hearings, and has written many Social Security Disability appeals.
